Basic Installation

The door sensor consists of two parts: the sensor body and the magnetic contact. As the sensor body contains a battery and is relatively heavier, it should be fixed to the door frame or a non-moving surface. This prevents the sensor from falling due to vibrations when the door is opened or closed. The corresponding magnetic contact should be installed on the moving part of the door or window.

Clean the installation surface with a clean cloth or paper towel, ensuring it is free from dust, oil, or other debris. This will ensure the sensor's adhesive pad can be securely attached.

Peel off the protective film on the back of the sensor. Attach the sensor to the cleaned door frame or window frame. Ensure the sensor is aligned with the edge of the door or window and is firmly attached.

Ensure the magnetic contact is aligned with the sensor and the distance between them is within the sensor's operating range (typically within 10mm). Peel off the protective film on the back of the magnetic contact and attach it to the door or window.

After installation, be sure to test the sensor's operation. Open and close the door or window several times, observing whether the sensor accurately detects the door or window's status changes and can promptly trigger alarm or notification functions. If the sensor is not working properly or the false alarm rate is high, adjust the position of the sensor and magnetic contact to ensure proper alignment and distance.
